Founded in 1984, Stage 84 is a leading force in the provision of performing arts training for young people in Yorkshire. We welcome boys and girls from 3 years of age upwards to early 18+, offering classes in Performing Arts, Drama Workshop, Contemporary Dance, Street and Freestyle Dance, Speech and Drama, Singing & Vocal Coaching and more. Thousands of young people have attended Stage 84, either for recreation, or to train specifically for a career in the performing arts industries. Students are guided by experienced, professional staff. We aim to inspire enjoyment and achievement in the arts and develop the self confidence and expression of the individual. We are based in large, purpose-fitted facilities in Bradford and also offer further classes at venues in Skipton and Burley-in-Wharfedale.
Stage 84 have performed across the UK and have represented the City of Bradford before the Queen, at the Millennium Dome, and most recently at the Kurhaus Theatre in Germany. Stage 84 have produced and performed their own musicals in addition to many known shows from Peter Pan to We Will Rock You, attracting numerous theatrical awards. As an approved examination centre, we are able to offer qualifications in many disciplines from boards including Trinity College London, LAMDA and I.D.T.A. Stage 84 students have achieved exceptional results as high as 100% in recent years, also maintaining a 100% pass rate for the School. Many of the qualifications attained by our young people are highly regarded by employers and contribute towards higher education and university entry requirements. We offer further training through our Summer Schools and workshops.
All students have the opportunity to be represented by the Stage 84 casting agency.
