Stage 84 Children's Casting Agency

Stage 84 has successfully represented thousands of young people throughout Yorkshire for over 20 years. We prepare our students for professional performing arts work in areas including television, film, theatre, radio, advertising and digital media.

Stage 84 children on set

Stage 84 continues strong relationships with major broadcasters, amongst them the BBC and ITV, and has supplied young actors and actresses for everything from ‘A Touch of Frost’ to ‘Wysiwyg’, ‘Barking’ to ‘Between the Sheets’. As a modern agency we also work with independent and upcoming production companies, supplying cast for music videos, digital shorts and documentaries to name a few. Stage 84 uses the latest, and is therefore able to provide young actors and actresses for projects across the country.

As a large organisation we represent children of varying ages and ethnicities. We are able to supply individuals or groups for external auditions, or provide modern studio facilities to host your audition on site. We will work closely with your brief to supply children most suited to a role, or can meet you at Stage 84 as classes run to see students working.

Our children maintain a very good reputation on-set and on stage. Directors regularly contact us following the wrap with praise for young people supplied by Stage 84.

"I have been meaning to write to you for so long to say how AMAZING all your children are.
Really, they and their parents have been complete stars this whole time. The children have all been fantastic, so enthusiastic and well behaved. Even the little ones, Zac and Roma and James, who are only so young, they have concentrated and worked really hard, and just been really really good. Everyone is so impressed with them, both for their behaviour and their performances. Thank you, the children are FABULOUS."
- Sophie Higson, Assistant Company Manager, Opera North ('Carousel')

"Samuel's performance was exceptional. Delicate and moving, his emotional expression is extraordinary for an actor his age.
He played a character who is experiencing a complex series of emotions, and captured the essence of the character perfectly.
He took direction exceptionally well, and would not struggle to obtain work in future."
- J. Lambert, Director

"Hannah was wonderful on my shoot. Mature, professional and very good.
She was excellent at taking direction and gave me exactly what I wanted.
All the cast and crew commented on how talented she is."
- F. Lee, Producer

"Our recent shoot for 'The Bottle' went very well. Isabella and Oliver were fantastic, we have a film
of great quality on our hands. We couldn't have done it without you and your wonderful kids!
I recommend your school to anyone looking for child actors."
- T. Laurance, Director
